Limited Warranty

KOIBOT products are built with premium robotics, electronic systems, and handcrafted cosmetic components. This Limited Warranty applies to confirmed manufacturing defects under normal indoor use, subject to the exclusions below.

KOIBOT is a brand of REON ROBOTICS CO., LTD. (Japan). Warranty coordination for customer sales and official pre-orders is handled by REON ROBOTICS (HONGKONG) CO., LIMITED, with product and technical support from the relevant REON Robotics team as needed.

Warranty Period

12 months from the delivery date.

Coverage

The Limited Warranty may cover defects in materials or workmanship confirmed by KOIBOT after inspection. KOIBOT may, at its discretion, repair, replace, or provide another appropriate remedy for an eligible product.

Exclusions

This Limited Warranty does not cover:

  • Misuse, neglect, accidental damage, impact, liquid exposure, fire, overheating, or improper storage
  • Unauthorized modification, disassembly, repair, or third-party service
  • Damage caused by improper setup, charging, power supply, transport, cleaning, placement, or use outside indoor conditions
  • Normal wear, cosmetic aging, surface marks, minor color variation, or handcrafted finish variation
  • Software, app, connectivity, or compatibility issues caused by third-party networks, devices, or services
  • Consumables, accessories, packaging, or external wear unless defective on arrival
  • Damage caused by customs inspection, local carrier mishandling, or events outside KOIBOT control unless verified as shipping damage under the return policy

Warranty Service

Warranty service requires proof of purchase, order information, photos or videos, and any diagnostic information requested by KOIBOT / REON Robotics. For Kickstarter backers, a Kickstarter pledge confirmation, pledge-management record, fulfillment confirmation, or other official KOIBOT / REON Robotics confirmation may be accepted as proof of purchase, subject to verification.

Products must not be sent for warranty service without prior written authorization. KOIBOT / REON Robotics will provide service instructions after reviewing the claim.
